Konoha Inoue appears to be an ordinary high school student, but he hides a secret: he is a famous writer who once published under the identity of a 14-year-old girl. He belongs to the literature club, where he works with the mysterious third-year student Tooko Amano, who calls herself a "book girl" because she literally eats written stories. Konoha creates spontaneous stories that serve as food for Tooko, and the two of them go on strange literary adventures together. Their newest challenge comes from Chia Takeda, who asks for help writing love letters to her crush, Shuuji Kataoka. What starts as a simple request turns dark when Konoha looks deeper into the situation.
