After a long and grueling journey, the Hero finally reaches the castle of the Dark Lady, only to be met with an unexpected request for assistance. He describes the devastating war between demons and humans, which has caused countless casualties and widespread suffering. However, the demon queen argues that this very conflict has brought unity to human society, supported by statistics showing population growth, economic prosperity, and social progress. She also warns that ending the war could spark a civil war leading to even greater violence. Convinced that the best path to a relatively peaceful future is to join forces with the Dark Lady, the Hero decides to support her plans.
