Kae Serinuma, a second-year high school student, is overweight and deeply absorbed in fictional male characters, often daydreaming about romantic relationships between boys. She far prefers stories where two princes fall for each other over typical prince-and-princess tales. Her favorite real-life subjects are her classmates Nozomu Nanashima and Yuusuke Igarashi, whom she imagines sharing a secret romance based on their interactions. When her beloved anime character dies, Kae shuts herself in for a week. Afterward, she emerges dramatically slimmer and strikingly beautiful. Now, all the boys she once admired from a distance compete for her attention. But Kae has no romantic interest in them; what she truly wants is to see them romantically involved with one another. As the boys vie for her affection, Kae pulls them into her vivid fantasies, showcasing the unique outlook of a dedicated fujoshi.
