Ikoku Meiro no Croisée

異国迷路のクロワーゼ

In the late 1800s, as Western fascination with Japanese culture grew, a young girl named Yune travels from Japan to France with a Frenchman called Oscar. Once in Paris, she helps out at the ironwork shop owned by Oscar's family. The shop is run by his nephew, Claude, who at first reluctantly accepts Yune. The story centers on the bond between Yune and Claude as they gradually come to understand one another and build a life together in nineteenth-century Paris, despite their differing backgrounds.
