Digimon Universe: Apuri Monsters

In the world of Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, smartphones contain hidden life forms called Appli Monsters, or Appmon—AI entities with consciousness that dwell in the interdimensional space between the physical and digital worlds. They enable interactions between humans and digital systems. But a powerful final boss AI named Leviathan emerges, unleashing a virus to take over the Appmon and begin hacking every system, aiming to dominate the human world from the digital side. Haru Shinkai, the main character, obtains the Appli Drive and uses it to summon Gacchimon, an Appmon based on a search application. The story revolves around uncovering the mysteries behind the Appli Drive, exploring the enigmatic domain between the digital world of Appmon and the real world, understanding the fusion process called "App Combine" that merges two Appmon, and unraveling Leviathan's ultimate goal.
