Synopsis
In a world where smartphone apps are everywhere, mysterious AI beings known as "Appli Monsters," or "Appmon," lurk within these applications. These digital entities dwell in the space between the human world and cyberspace. Across the vast internet, a supreme AI named Leviathan has corrupted the Appmon with a virus, seizing control of systems around the planet and aiming to take over the human realm through the digital dimension. Haru Shinkai is guided to obtain the Appli Drive, which allows Haru to call upon Gatchmon, a search-type Appmon.

The original airing time was Saturday 7:00 a.m., but it has been pushed back Saturday 9:30 a.m. starting April 1, 2017.
