Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou

In "Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou," Harumi Kazuhito takes great joy in reading and devotes much of his time to the activity. One evening, while absorbed in a book at a café, a violent robbery takes place, placing the patrons in peril. Though he is no hero, Kazuhito attempts to intervene and winds up killed. Upon awakening, he finds himself reborn as a dog under the care of Natsuno Kirihime, who was also present at the café during the incident. A mysterious connection allows Kirihime to hear Kazuhito's thoughts even in his new form. However, Kazuhito's predicament is complicated by Kirihime's sadistic tendencies and her particular fascination with scissors.
