Synopsis

In this comedic and bizarre mystery, high school student Harumi Kazuhito, an avid literature enthusiast and devoted fan of author Natsuno Kirihime, witnesses a robbery at a café where she is writing. When a gunman threatens Kirihime, Kazuhito leaps in front of her, sacrificing his own life. Due to the supernatural influence of a bookworm, he is reincarnated as a dachshund. As a dog, Kazuhito suffers a harsh life without access to books until a cruel woman wielding scissors appears to help him—only to reveal herself as Kirihime herself.

Episode 1 was previewed at a screening in Akihabara UDX, Tokyo on June 30, 2013. Regular broadcasting began on July 2, 2013.
