On a summer day near Tokyo, a motorcycle and a van collide violently. Ten days later, the van's driver, forty-two-year-old Kazuhiro Kubota, dies from his injuries. Meanwhile, the motorcyclist, seventeen-year-old Takuya Onodera, unexpectedly begins to recover and soon wakes up—a true miracle.
