Leading the charge is the mysterious Akamatsu Industries, which looks like an ordinary heavy machinery factory in Tokyo but operates as a secret organization. They employ sophisticated neural weapons called NeuroNoids to fight the virus. Aiding these covert operations is a strange mutant known only as "Betterman."
