In "Futago," Yukari Nagaya is a hardworking 25-year-old novelist who enjoys her quiet, solo life in the large apartment she bought after her older twin sister Ayaka got married. The two sisters drifted apart following their parents' divorce. Yukari is shocked when Ayaka suddenly shows up with an unusual favor: asking if Naomi, Ayaka's friend, can stay with her temporarily. Naomi is a frequent traveler who met Ayaka after helping her nab a purse thief during Ayaka's honeymoon in Hong Kong. Not entirely convinced about their bond, Yukari still agrees to let Naomi live with her until he finds stable employment. This sets off the story of "Futago," which delves into themes of love, marriage, family, and the connection between siblings. Also included are the one-shot stories "Papa Mama Futago" and "Eri-chan no Kare" in Volume 5.
