Kimi ni Nare

Taiyou, a high-school musician, dreams of stardom. When his bandmates quit to focus on their studies, his aspirations seem to slip away. In desperation, Taiyou pressures his sullen classmate Hikari into forming a band with him. The two boys are complete opposites, but together they might just create something extraordinary.

Background

Kimi ni Nare is inspired by Kobukuro's song of the same title. On April 11, 2018, was released a special teaser music video which used illustrations from the first chapter of the manga. The series has been published in English as Become You by Seven Seas Entertainment since September 10, 2019.
