The narrative takes place in 1930 within Gallia, a fictional European nation rich in ragnite—a potent mineral serving as a vital energy source. This resource draws the interest of the East European Imperial Alliance, currently embroiled in war with the Atlantic Federation. The story follows a group of Gallian soldiers commanded by Welkin Gunther, son of the renowned war hero General Belgen Gunther. Their mission is to liberate their neutral homeland from Imperial Alliance occupation and repel the invaders from Gallian territory.
