In body-swapping stories, characters usually return to their original forms. However, Yui Ootsuka and Yuuta Kimura cannot achieve such a resolution. When Yuuta falls from a tree and crashes into Yui, both become trapped in each other's bodies, unable to reverse the swap despite their attempts. Over time, they choose to adjust to their new situation, keeping the incident hidden from others. What started as a simple classmate relationship becomes a bond sealed by an inexplicable event. As years pass, Yui and Yuuta endure lives that are not their own. Through this exhausting experience, they gain deep understanding of the challenges of experiencing life from another person's perspective.
