Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to chronicles the daily routine of mangaka Aito Yuuki and his assistant, Ashisu Sahoto. Because Aito has difficulty comprehending the feelings of his characters, he turns to Ashisu for help. In her efforts to aid his understanding, Ashisu goes to extreme measures, such as letting him touch her breasts to directly experience the physical sensations. Through their unusual routines and indecent conduct, this comedy explores the bizarre realm of a mangaka.
