Mugi Tadano, a sixteen-year-old boy, is heartbroken when his girlfriend moves away. To cope, he takes a summer job at a beachside snack bar and hotel on a tropical island, run by his friend Kazuki. Things seem fine until Kazuki sets up a blind date for Mugi with a girl named Yuu, whom they expect to be unattractive. However, Yuu turns out to be the most adorable girl Mugi has ever seen. Mugi's luck changes when he accidentally catches Yuu bathing, which angers her greatly. The next day, Mugi tries to make amends, only to find that Yuu has already left the island.
