In the True Calendar year 71, humankind has spread across space, with 70% of the population residing inside the gigantic "Dyson Sphere," an immense space colony. The Earth is split between two main powers: the Dorssia Military Pact Federation, born from a military alliance, and the Atlantic Rim United States (ARUS), which gained strength through extensive commerce. JIOR, a neutral country, sustains its peace and prosperity via economic success. Haruto Tokishima leads a normal school life in the JIOR sector called "Module 77." His daily routine is shattered when the Dorssian forces launch an unexpected invasion. Everything changes for Haruto when he comes across the enigmatic humanoid battle machine known as the Valvrave.
