In "A Galaxy Next Door," Ichirou Kuga carries the weight of supporting his younger siblings, Machi and Fumio, while managing his duties as a landlord, all alongside his drive to create shoujo manga. Burdened by relentless deadlines and working alone, he has achieved modest success and is motivated to secure a better future for his family. One day, his editor informs him about a new assistant. Eagerly heading to meet this potential helper, Ichirou encounters Shiori Goshiki, a striking 19-year-old with exceptional drawing skills, marking her debut in the manga industry. Her fresh background in manga makes her seem almost otherworldly. However, Ichirou's reality shifts when, during a brief nap, he notices what appears to be a wound caused by a sharp object protruding from her body. Upon waking, Shiori reveals that the object is actually a stinger and that their encounter has officially betrothed them, leaving Ichirou completely stunned.
