Yumemiru Taiyou

In "Dreamin' Sun," Shimana Kameko feels overlooked because of her newborn brother and new stepmother, leading her to skip school and run away from home. While searching for a place to stay, she encounters a man in a kimono who is locked out of his own house. Desperate to get back inside, he offers to rent a room to Shimana if she can meet three conditions: find the house key, explain why she ran away, and prove she has both a dream and someone to love. After fulfilling these requirements, Shimana moves into the boarding house with her new roommates: Taiga Fujiwara, her 21-year-old landlord who enjoys drinking; Zen Nakajou, her enthusiastic classmate who loves pandas; and Asahi Tatsugae, another Yuumei High School student known for their friendly nature. Yumemiru Taiyou was rereleased by Futabasha with redrawn artwork from December 12, 2015 to April 28, 2017. The redrawn Futabasha edition was published in English as Dreamin' Sun by Seven Seas Entertainment from May 2, 2017 to October 29, 2019.
