Sera Seo is a female high school student who feels self-conscious about her deep voice. After being mocked for it during middle school, she has struggled to express herself openly and has never quite managed to blend in with her classmates. In her class, there is a boy named Takeru Narukami who also stands apart from the rest. Sera assumed that Narukami, who is always wearing headphones, was as much of an outsider as she was. However, when she witnessed Narukami singing behind the school building during the lunch break, her perspective shifted.
