In "Look Back," fourth-grader Ayumu Fujino regularly contributes four-panel manga to her school newspaper and is acknowledged as the top artist in her class. One day, her teacher asks her to give up one of her manga slots to Kyoumoto, a student who rarely comes to school. When Kyoumoto's artwork appears next to Fujino's, it receives high praise for its detailed quality, sparking intense jealousy in Fujino. Driven to prove she is better, Fujino dedicates herself to improving her manga skills. But over time, her goal of surpassing Kyoumoto feels increasingly out of reach, causing Fujino to stop making manga altogether by the time she reaches sixth grade. On her graduation day, Fujino is assigned to deliver Kyoumoto's certificate. This unexpected encounter between them, after years apart, triggers a series of events neither could have anticipated.

Look Back ranked first in the 2022 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! for the Male Readers division. It was also nominated for the 15th Manga Taisho Award and placed second in the final ranking. The one-shot was published digitally as an English simulpub through MANGA Plus. The volume was published in English by VIZ Media under the VIZ Signature imprint on September 20, 2022. The manga was also released in Polish by Waneko on August 24, 2022, and in Portuguese by Editora Devir on September 9, 2024.
