Nearly half the population of Sakurada, a small town near the Pacific Ocean, possesses some form of unique ability. These abilities range from entering a cat's mind to resetting the world back to a specific point in the past. A group called the "Kanrikyoku" oversees and regulates the use of these powers. Asai Kei and Haruki Misora work for their school's "Houshi" club, which carries out any missions received from the Kanrikyoku. Misora has the power to reset the world by three days. This means that all events and any memory of the past three days that "could have" happened are erased. Kei has the ability to "remember" the past. Even after Misora uses her power to reset the world three days, Kei retains those three days in his memory. By combining their abilities, the two solve missions assigned by the Kanrikyoku.
