Teenage girls Excel and Hyatt, operating under codenames, hold down low-paying jobs while secretly working towards conquering the city of Fukuoka for the clandestine group ACROSS and its leader, the flamboyant Il Palazzo. Despite ACROSS' grand ambitions, Il Palazzo's ego prevents him from admitting that his organization comprises only himself, a decrepit basement, two unpaid intern-like teenagers, and a stray dog. Through this satirical manga, creator Rikudo Koshi critiques various aspects of society, including organized religion and public broadcasting, with bizarre elements like reindeer spitting blood and puppies on the dinner table.
