Leaving behind a classmate is always difficult for students of Kisaragi Academy. Hoping to strengthen their bonds, the group performs the Sachiko-san Ever After charm, a ritual said to forge an unbreakable connection. However, once the ritual is complete, the ground suddenly collapses beneath them, plunging them into a dark void. When they come to, they realize they have been thrown into a distorted version of Tenjin Elementary School—a place where kidnappings and brutal murders once took place, leading to its demolition and the eventual construction of Kisaragi Academy. Now the spirits of the dead children from Tenjin Elementary haunt them, trapping the students within a ghostly maze with no escape in sight. They must confront the evil entities that have captured them and uncover the dark secrets behind the tragic history of Tenjin Elementary School.

Corpse Party: BloodCovered is based on the 2008 PC remake of the video game Corpse Party, which originally released in 1996 for the PC-9801. The series was published in English by Yen Press in 2-in-1 omnibuses from May 24, 2016, to May 23, 2017.
