On the first day of high school, Asahi Oniwa resolves to shed his reserved nature and become more outgoing. Inspired by the Theater Club president's captivating performance at the freshman orientation, he promptly joins the club, becoming its fourth member. Vice president Botan Yurigasaki introduces Asahi to the other members: Kaoru Kinugawa, who handles props and costumes, and the president, Imari Kikuji, known for being shy and withdrawn but exceptionally talented and confident on stage. Encouraged by Imari's skill, Asahi commits to mastering the art of theater.
