After failing a serialization conference, manga artist Hiroto Takei decides to abandon his dream and travels to Brazil for a journey of heartbreak, hoping to leave everything behind. While wandering through a favela, he encounters João, a impoverished boy with a piercing gaze. Living on the opposite side of the world, João surprisingly harbors a dream of becoming a Japanese manga artist. This story proves that no matter where you live, you never have to give up, as it chronicles the journey of two slum dwellers chasing their aspirations.
