Deep within an expansive forest, the Kurta Clan maintains a secluded existence to escape the discrimination their unique scarlet eyes provoke. Only a select handful are permitted to depart from their concealed settlement. Kurapika and his intimate companion Pyro are motivated by Sheila, a woman they assist who becomes disoriented in the woods, to pursue encounters outside their isolated life. Resolved to venture beyond the forest's boundaries, Kurapika must accomplish three challenges assigned by the clan elder to earn permission.
