Mata, Onaji Yume wo Miteita

In Nanoka Koyanagi's elementary school, she often sees herself as strange, using this perception to avoid taking part in activities like physical education or interacting with classmates. Concerned for her well-being and acting out of kindness, her teacher gives her the task of defining "happiness." As Nanoka thinks about this assignment, she repeatedly meets Abazure-san, a lively woman who had previously helped her rescue a cat. She also frequently visits Obaa-chan, an elderly woman spending her final days in the nearby woods. One day, while wandering through these woods, Nanoka comes across a high school student named Minami, who appears to be harming herself. By forming bonds with these unique individuals, their stories and personal experiences guide Nanoka on a journey of self-reflection and understanding.
