In a prehistoric world, a pale-skinned baby is born, his distinct appearance causing him to be shunned and left alone by others. He is taken in and raised by an ape named Kitty as her own child. Given the name Ryuu, he grows into a kind-hearted young man. After his adoptive mother is brutally killed by Tirano, Ryuu sets out to find him and learn the truth of his own origins. On his journey, he meets Ran and Don, two siblings who join him in his quest as they face numerous challenges.
