Synopsis
At Ryuu's birth, his own tribe attempts to offer him as a sacrifice to a Tyrannosaurus named Shirano due to the color of his skin. A monkey saves him and raises him as her own child. In the meantime, Ryuu's mother leaves the tribe and begins searching for him. Sixteen years later, Ryuu encounters a girl named Ran, who has been sold to the tribe he originally belonged to. The tribe is displeased to see Ryuu alive and once again tries to sacrifice him, this time by burning him alive. Before they can carry out the act, Shirano massacres the entire tribe, including Ryuu's adoptive mother. Ryuu then embarks on a journey with Ran to locate his mother and Ran's brother, Don.
