Diamond no Kouzai

Jiro Ayasegawa feels that baseball is what he was born to play. He has a natural gift for sports, but reaching the top has made him lonely. He has crushed the dreams of other players; some have even quit their sport altogether because of him. Eventually he encounters "The Bambies," a low-level local kids' baseball team that plays purely for fun. Jiro signs up, believing he has finally found an easy-going team where he can enjoy baseball—until things take an unexpected turn.
