Two years have passed since Nezumi made his promise to meet Shion again and left No. 6. In this continuation of the original story, Shion serves as the head of the Reconstruction Committee, burdened by concerns over the city's volatile political climate and a mysterious assassin who has him in their sights. Feeling overwhelmed, he yearns for Nezumi's support, and Nezumi returns precisely when he is most needed. Finally reunited, Shion declares that if Nezumi departs again, they will go together. But before that, can the two boys create a future open to everyone? And can they discover hope amid the obstacles lying in their path?
