More than ten thousand years after the events of Sousei no Aquarion, humanity faces a new extradimensional menace called the "Abductors," who snatch people from cities just as the Shadow Angels once did. To counter this threat, the Neo-DEAVA organization forms two pilot teams—one all male, the other all female—to pilot giant machines known as "Aquaria." Teenager Amata Sora, determined to protect his newfound friend Mikono, starts tapping into hidden abilities he has concealed his entire life. When male and female pilots merge their Vectors into a single robot, the legendary giant Aquarion is resurrected.
