At age 30, Takara Takarada is a gifted stage actor yet to reach his career's peak. While brilliant in performance, he is disorganized, absent-minded, and has trouble memorizing lines. His close companion and fellow actor Yuujin Kamoshima provides assistance. Recognizing Takarada's natural talent for captivating audiences, Yuujin handles his daily chores, helps with script memorization, and carefully orchestrates his performances to maximize his exceptional stage skills. Takarada's luck shifts when a talent agency offers him a guest role in a new television series. However, he struggles to understand the character and adapt to the variety of directorial instructions. Aware of his dependence on Yuujin, Takarada seeks his friend's help once more. As Yuujin assists Takarada through this chance, he also furthers his own career. Still, it becomes clear that their mutually reliant arrangement may not last forever.
