In Koizora: Setsunai Koimonogatari, Mika Tahara wishes for a short but romantic high school romance. Even with her desire, Mika's youthful appearance fails to attract the boys in her grade as her classmates become more mature. Her spirits drop until she meets Hiroki "Hiro" Sakurai, a known troublemaker at school. Although Hiro shows a rough exterior, Mika falls deeply in love with him, and they begin a relationship. What starts as Mika's perfect relationship soon faces problems like jealousy, lies, violence, and painful events that threaten their bond. As they face these challenges along with the instability of teenage love, Mika and Hiro realize that their relationship might be more complicated than they expected.
