Rentt Faina is a twenty-five-year-old adventurer who has spent a decade cutting down monsters. Lacking any real talent for the work, he spends his days hunting slimes and goblins for pitiful coin. That all changes when he stumbles upon an undiscovered path in the Labyrinth of the Moon's Reflection. What awaits him at the end is not treasure or riches, but a legendary dragon that promptly devours him whole. When Rentt awakens shortly afterward, he is neither fully dead nor alive—he is nothing more than a pile of bones. Armed only with his trusty sword, tool belt, and his new ghoulish appearance, Rentt embarks on a quest as a newly reborn Skeleton. He aims to achieve Existential Evolution, hoping to one day regain a human form and return to civilization. Will Rentt succeed, or will the labyrinth consume him for the rest of his undeath?
