In a reality where hyper-advanced AI has surpassed human intelligence, enigmatic entities made of materials beyond current human technological reach start emerging—beings that humans can't fully comprehend. One of these is Lacia, an hIE equipped with a strange black coffin-like device. The narrative starts when 17-year-old Arato Endo meets the artificial Lacia. As questions arise about the motives behind these artificial beings' creation and how humans can live alongside them, Arato, only 17, is forced to make a crucial choice.
