Mugen, a rough-and-tumble mercenary with lethal combat skills and a laid-back demeanor, teams up with Jin, a reserved samurai who is equally deadly and tight-lipped. Fuu, a kind yet clever young waitress, completes this mismatched trio. Their lives take a sharp turn when they set out on a risky journey to track down a peculiar samurai. This perilous quest plunges the often bickering group into countless scrapes, far more than they can easily remember. Navigating the treacherous worlds of aristocratic scheming and the dark corners of the underworld, Mugen, Jin, and Fuu confront threats from both outside and among themselves, all while freely trading insults and blades. The streets of feudal Japan are about to experience a new form of vigilante justice—Champloo-style—and nothing will ever be the same again.
