In a science-fiction thriller set in a vividly depicted multicultural future reminiscent of today's Middle East, the narrative centers on No.5 as he rebels against the Rainbow Council. With 70% of the Earth transformed into desolate desert, the Rainbow Council, composed of super-powered peacekeepers from the International Peace Keeping Forces, grapples with mounting conflict. No.5, once their premier sharpshooter, has now defected and gone rogue. The remaining guardians are tasked with capturing him, yet No.5 and his mysterious ally, Matroshka, will stand firm in their resistance.
