Isurugi Takuya is put in charge of maintaining an air squadron that has been badly neglected. He discovers it was originally planned as an all-female aerobatics team, but the higher-ups never seriously considered it. Determined to bring the squadron back to life, Isurugi works with the hardworking Haneda Miyuki. They encounter opposition from those who doubt women can become jet pilots. As the group expands, they add Mitaka Arisa, a fiery half-Japanese member; Saginomiya Sakura, a gambler; and the enthusiastic but naive Shimorenjaku Youko, who keeps a vampire bat as a pet. Can they demonstrate their worth to skeptical military officials?
