801 T.T.S. Airbats

Synopsis

Takuya Isurugi, an anime fan and aviation enthusiast, enlists in the 801st Tactical Training Squadron only to quickly realize he is in over his head. The unit is led by veteran pilot Mitsuru Konishi, who is charged with keeping order among the "Airbats," a female aerial demonstration team. The squad includes impulsive duo Miyuki Haneda and Arisa Mitaka, karaoke-loving gambling prodigy Sakura Saginomiya, and junk food devotee Yoko Shimorenjaku. Haneda and Mitaka often clash, and their rivalry intensifies when both start developing romantic feelings for Isurugi. As questions about the team's worth spread throughout the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, the Airbats must come together or face being disbanded.
