Summary
During Nagihiko’s time in Europe, he abandoned his graceful dancing persona, causing Temari to retreat into her egg while Rhythm’s egg emerged. Nagihiko eventually brought this new egg back to Japan. When Nagihiko rediscovered his passion for basketball, Rhythm hatched into a cool, outgoing figure. Although Rhythm sometimes forces Nagihiko into embarrassing situations, Nagihiko still holds affection for him. In the anime, assuming the form of Rhythm involves wearing blue headphones around the neck and adopting a more sporty demeanor. This personality shift leads to flirtatious behavior and a strong desire to participate in various sports, including basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, and judo. This change, which symbolizes Nagihiko’s wish to be perceived as a boy, once caused him to arrive late to the royal garden tea party—an occurrence he had never done before—prompting Nagihiko to avoid triggering this transformation again. When Nagihiko transforms with Rhythm, he becomes "Beat Jumper," an athletic character who plays basketball at his own pace. As Beat Jumper, he wears a blue vest layered over a white short-sleeved shirt and a purple long-sleeved shirt. His outfit includes a beanie adorned with small blue wings, blue fingerless gloves, blue cargo pants, knee pads, and black knee-high Converse sneakers featuring blue wings.
