Summary
Mimete serves as the second member of the Witches 5. Her name is derived from the mineral mimetite. She makes her debut attacking the Sailor Senshi in episode 112 of the anime. Following Eudial's demise, Mimete is tasked with collecting Pure Hearts. She is characterized as somewhat ditzy, often prioritizing flirting with attractive celebrities over her actual duties. Among the Witches 5, she is the least organized and most prone to distraction. Her Daimons are known for extracting Pure Heart Crystals from victims through their mouths, and these monsters can only be defeated using the power of the Holy Grail. Her signature attack is "Charm Buster," which is referred to as "Stage Fright" in the English dub. After failing to collect hearts multiple times, Mimete attempts to use one of Eudial's abandoned inventions, the Witches Electric Warp, to enhance her size and strength. However, just as she prepares to strike, Tellu disconnects the machine, trapping Mimete inside it and effectively killing her. In the manga, she operates under the alias Mimi Hanyu and leads the Acting Class within the Talent Division of Infinity Academy. Ranked at Level 40, she is the lowest-ranked member of her group. Her death attack is also "Charm Buster." She poses as a pop idol, hosting a concert for Infinity Academy students to steal their Hostes. Sailor Venus, disguised as a student, intervenes to stop her. When the other Senshi arrive, Mimete attempts to use Kaolinite's help to awaken Daimon eggs implanted in the students, but the effort fails. She is ultimately killed by Sailor Uranus.
