Pandaman
Summary
Pandaman is a gag character created by Eiichirō Oda, depicted as a muscular figure with a panda head, though it remains ambiguous whether this is a mask or his natural appearance. He frequently appears in the background of the series for readers to spot. Originally designed for the book 77 Mysteries of Kinnikuman, Pandaman is said to originate from Tibet with an unknown age. He stands 200 cm (6'6") tall, weighs 122kg (270 lbs), and holds a Super Power Rating of 3,300,000. His signature techniques are the Bamboo Leaf Panda Drop and the Giant Panda Deathlock. Legend states he was abandoned in a bamboo thicket as an infant and raised by Giant Pandas. He is an Akuma Chōjin who sought strength after being mocked for claiming he had seen Kaguya-Hime, a princess from Japanese folklore found inside a bamboo stump. These details originate outside the One Piece manga and anime, so they should be viewed skeptically. Oda has noted that Pandaman is a wealthy individual residing on a specific island. He is often depicted alongside the Tomato Gang, a group of debt collectors hunting him to recover money he owes, which explains why he is commonly shown fleeing. During the Anime Filler Arc Ice Hunter in Episode 326, it is revealed that his bounty exceeds 3,333,333 beli, as Kanpaccino’s hand obscures the full figure.
