Summary
Ginji Matsuzaki serves as the acting wakagashira of the Washimine Group, currently operating as a street stall vendor after a former career as an assassin known as Hitokiri Ginji. He earned this moniker for his lethal proficiency with a katana, displaying skills so sharp he can slice bullets in midair. Relying on his ability to dodge gunfire from multiple attackers, he largely avoids using firearms. For years, he shielded Yukio, hoping she could live a normal life despite her family’s criminal ties. Though he regrets his violent past, he is ready to fight again for those he loves. Eventually, he dies in a prearranged duel against Revy, a fight that became necessary after he and Yukio realized they could not overcome Balalaika and Hotel Moscow. While Revy calls him Jumbo due to his stature, the name may also reference Takeshi Takeda, known as Jumbo from the Yotsuba! manga, given their striking physical resemblance.
