Summary
Serving as the supreme authority over the Eastern Quadrant of the Universe, the East Kaioshin answers to the Dai Kaioshin. Visually distinct with his short stature, purple skin, and white hair, he wears a lavish Kaio outfit and is perpetually accompanied by his devoted friend and bodyguard, Kibito. He endured the assault by Majin Boo that wiped out his colleagues, making him the sole surviving Kaioshin. He has admitted to being the least powerful among the four supreme rulers, a fact that led him to be referred to simply as Kaioshin once the others were gone. It was later revealed in Dragon Ball Super that his true name is Shin, a name he had previously used as an alias while competing in the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai alongside Kibito during the early stages of the Majin Boo saga.
