Fujimoto, Kiyokazu
Summary
Kiyokazu Fujimoto is a reserved and straightforward man who works at the same kindergarten as Kobato and lives in the same housing complex owned by Chitose. He has known Sayaka for years and harbors strong feelings for her, often acting defensively and showing deep concern for her well-being. When he first meets Kobato, his suspicion stems from a desire to protect Sayaka from potential harm, leading him to tease the unusual girl—a behavior that contrasts with his usual habit of ignoring those he dislikes. Sayaka misinterprets this teasing as affection, but Fujimoto gradually warms up to Kobato, eventually showing care for her by discreetly giving her cough drops when she feigned illness to cover for Ioryogi. Despite his outward demeanor, Kobato senses that he is concealing his own emotional pain.
