Summary
Luxembourg represents the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, a nation officially known as Groussherzogtum Lëtzebuerg, Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, or Großherzogtum Luxemburg, with Luxembourg City as its capital. The country utilizes French, Luxembourgish, and German as its languages, and the rose serves as its national flower. As the brother of Belgium and the Netherlands, Luxembourg exudes elegance and possesses a friendly personality, consistently speaking in a very polite and proper manner. Despite his refined demeanor, he occasionally slips into a Kanazawa dialect when talking to himself. A footnote in the Wordy Nordic Comic identifies him as the world's top drinker. Luxembourg is an extremely busy individual who could not attend the 2011 Halloween party due to work obligations dictated by his boss. Leveraging his connections with Hollywood specialists, he successfully attended the following year's party dressed as a frightening-looking wolfman. He won the costume contest and took pride in his ability to scare Belgium with the outfit. He owns a dog named Pelutze; notes indicate that Luxembourg was always intended to have a pet because he features in the most movies with dogs. During character development, Himaruya stated that "Luxembourg could be a man with a clear common sense or something similar."
