Summary
Yumi Omura is a 17-year-old who works at the Japanese pub My Pleasure alongside Hideki. As the daughter of the club's owner, she harbors a complex dynamic with her coworker. Although it is initially suggested that Yumi has romantic feelings for Hideki, the narrative later clarifies that she approached him simply because he was employed at the club, viewing him instead as a big brother figure. Throughout the series, Yumi struggles with an inferiority complex regarding persocoms, becoming visibly distressed whenever human-sized persocoms are mentioned.
