Summary
Takeru Shirogane serves as the central protagonist across the Muv-Luv Extra, Unlimited, and Alternative installments. His journey begins in the Unlimited timeline when he awakens to find his hometown in ruins, with a giant robot perched atop the wreckage of Sumika’s home. Initially convinced that he is merely dreaming, he wanders through the desolation to enjoy the fantasy, piloting Valgernon-esque mecha along the way. Through these harrowing experiences, Takeru comes to understand the conflicting ideologies of those around him and gains profound knowledge about the world, leading to significant personal maturation. He dedicates himself entirely to achieving his objectives, enduring the loss of many important things in the process, though he also manages to regain others.
